Home made whipped cream is delicious and very simple to make. All you need is a mixer in order to whip the cream to a stiff consistency. The taste is so much better than store bought, and you know exactly what went into it….no artificial flavors or unnecessary additives. It only takes a few minutes to make, start to finish. It’s a great addition to many desserts, cakes, pies, custards, puddings, etc.
1 – pint whipping cream
2 – tbls. powered sugar
1 1/2 – tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pour the cream into a mixing bowl. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Use a mixer on high and whip the cream until it is thick enough to make peaks in the cream and remain on the beaters without falling off.
This does not take long, so be careful not to over whip the cream because it will curdle.
