Whipped Cream

Home made whipped cream is delicious and very simple to make.  All you need is a mixer in order to whip the cream to a stiff consistency.  The taste is so much better than store bought, and you know exactly what went into it….no artificial flavors or unnecessary additives.  It only takes a few minutes to make, start to finish.  It’s a great addition to many desserts, cakes, pies, custards, puddings, etc.


1 – pint whipping cream
2 – tbls. powered sugar
1 1/2 – tsp. pure vanilla extract


Pour the cream into a mixing bowl.  Add the powdered sugar and vanilla.  Use a mixer on high and whip the cream until it is thick enough to make peaks in the cream and remain on the beaters without falling off.  whipped-cream

This does not take long, so be careful not to over whip the cream because it will curdle.
